Born in Turkey and brought up in Germany, Kemal Yazici is a modern abstract artist bringing to life paintings inspired by the simplicity of geometrical and organic elements.
“We are the ones who decide what we want to bring forth into this world, whether it’s art or chaos.” He says.
Yazici prefers the scrape of his tools on the canvas to the swipe of a paintbrush. He is adept at creating vividly coloured artworks with intricate details through layering and scraping paint.
He has honed his skills in bending the brutal nature of acrylic and metal tools to create pieces of luminous artwork. Yazici believes that what matters are not the tools but the intent of the artist.

About the artist
A creator at heart, Kemal Yazici is a true visionary in the Dubai art space. His passion for innovation is translated into his bespoke works of art.
"I don’t want to just sell paintings. I want to give people a moment of calm. I want them to look at my work and let go of their worries." Yazici comments.
His art style consists of using squeegees, spatulas, acrylic and metal tools while applying pressure coordinated techniques to produce paintings that allows the viewer to draw upon meanings based on their personal experiences.
"Layering is a huge part of my process; I don’t know what the final piece may look like. You cannot predict life or art, but that’s what makes it fun. " Kemal Yazici.
Guided by his unique artistic intuition, his process involves layering bold colours and scraping intricate details to transform a blank canvas into a work of art.
"I’m a huge believer that you can get the life you want. It may take a year or two, or even a decade. But you will get there." Kemal Yazici.
In the UAE, Yazici’s art can be found in ‘Bedia Art Gallery’ located in Al Khayat Avenue, Al Quoz; an airy 220 sq. ft space encompassing two floors.
